Sri Gurukkal’s contribution to astika community in Chicagoland is very significant. He was associated with local temple for a long time. Now as a head priest, Shri Gurukkal provides all guidance for event planning, conducting those events in the temple.

Shri Srinivasan Raghupathy Gurukkal is a Shiva Agama Vidhya Nidhi and has studied Agama from Art of Living Vidya Peeth in Bangalore. He has over 15 years of experience working in various temples in India and USA.
Shivasri Chandrashekhara Gurukkal
Shivasri Chandrashekhara Gurukkal, the head priest, vowed to dedicate his life to building a temple for Shri Gayathri Devi after she appeared in his dream in 2005 and the result is the GG Temple.
Shri Gayathri Matha, also known as Veda Matha, is rightfully very close to Shri Gurukkal’s heart.
It is Shri Gurukkal’s dream that this temple fosters the rich values of Sanatana Dharma for a very long time.
The Vedas are the bedrock of all righteous (Dharmic) deeds. Such Dharmic deeds in turn nourish a strong society.
